If you use Mac with Windows share, you probably were scolded before for leaving ._.DS_Store or .DS_Store files everywhere. They might be invisible to you because you are a demigod using a Mac, but your Windows colleges should be so lucky.
It’s very easy to stop bringing your Mac dirty laundry into a holy Windows house. Just run this command in the Terminal or iTerm and restart your computer
defaults write com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores -bool true
To see the current value of of the com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores
defaults read com.apple.desktopservices DSDontWriteNetworkStores
If your setting took, it should return 1
P.S.:
Ultimately the solution is to convert all your friends into the cult of Mac
